Please note: these classes are not designed for clients with injuries or special conditions.

Studio Sessions Information

Clients participate in a series of Initial Consultations prior to heading into a group studio session. In accordance with industry body (PAA) there are no more than 4 people in any of these sessions.

Clients are provided and guided through their personalised program designed for their body. Programs are continually updated to accommodate the changing body.

Sessions incorporate larger pieces of equipment in the studio including: Reformer, Cadi / Trap Table, Wonder-Chair, high barrel, smaller barrels and Spine Corrector. Smaller pieces such as Thera-bands, Magic Circles and Foam Rollers are also utilised to complement client programs.

Equipment and exercise selection will either assist or challenge the client by educating and guiding the body through various ranges of movement with different load direction and resistance.

What is an Initial Consultation?

Prior to all studio sessions, the first step is to participate in an Initial Consultation session. This instructor-lead assessment will provide you with your own unique program, as well as provide the ideal environment for teaching fundamental exercises for each person.

Initial Consultations provide a fantastic opportunity to be educated about your body and movement, your tailored program, as well as ensure the safety aspects of using the equipment is understood.

All group-based Studio sessions, Mat and Reformer classes generally run in blocks, aligned to Queensland school terms.
